1902 Eclectic PNW Fixer Upper – The BEFORE Home Tour
There’s something magical about an old house—the creaky floors, the unexpected corners, and the rich, layered history waiting to be uncovered. We recently became the proud (and slightly overwhelmed) owners of a 1902 fixer upper in the Pacific Northwest, and we’re taking you inside for the official BEFORE tour.
Whether you're a lover of vintage homes, curious about old house renovations, or deep in the throes of your own DIY fixer upper journey, you're in the right place!

Why We Fell in Love With This 1902 House
Despite the peeling paint, aging plumbing, and layers of wallpaper hiding who-knows-what, we knew it had good bones and a ton of potential. Built at the turn of the century, this house still has much of its original charm: wood trim, tall ceilings, large windows and solid wood doors with beautiful glass handles.
It’s far from perfect, but we could see the potential instantly. With a little vision and a LOT of elbow grease, we’re planning to restore this historic home one room at a time.
What You’ll See in the Before Tour
In this video, we take you room by room through the house exactly how we found it. Just pure, untouched vintage weirdness.
A dining room that still gets dreamy PNW light through tall windows
A 70s kitchen begging for a reno
Bedrooms with old doors, sloped ceilings, and vintage wallpaper
A bathroom that’s still standing. Barely.
PNW Style Meets Eclectic DIY Vision
Our plan is to blend the original historic details with cozy, layered, eclectic decor. Think:
Rich textures
Vintage finds
Thoughtful DIY projects
A little bit of maximalist whimsy
All while respecting the soul of this turn-of-the-century home.
We’ll be sharing each room makeover step by step—on a real-life budget, with lots of trial and error, and always with transparency and creativity.
